St Barnabas, Khandallah
Sunday
8.00 am Eucharist
This is a traditional, quiet service of Holy Communion. On the
first and third Sundays of the
month we use the Book of Common Prayer (1928). Otherwise
we usually use the New Zealand Prayer Book. There is
no music except at Easter and Christmas.
10.00 am Eucharist
This is a service with music, usually using one of the options
from the New Zealand Prayer Book. During school terms
our children's programme Godspace
is available. A "cuppa" follows in the parish lounge.
On the first Sunday of the month we celebrate
an All-age Eucharist. On the third
Sunday it's a Worship and Brunch service, which is a contemporary
service no longer than an hour, followed by a light brunch in
the hall.
On fifth Sundays this service is combined with
the 9.00 am service - please contact us
for details.
Wednesday

7.30 pm Reflective Worship
This is a reflective/contemplative service whose

prepare for the week ahead. We offer Christian Meditation, Taizé
style worship, Spiritual Formation, Celtic Prayer, traditional
Evensong, and occasional themed multimedia experiences. There
is no sermon.
