Vicar: Monty Black — full time, clergy

Monty has been in full-time paid parish ministry since 1971 and has served in seven different North Island parishes. He has particular interests in teaching and in liturgy (worship). Monty is the senior priest in the parish and as Archdeacon of Ohariu has responsibilities within the wider church.

Parish Administrator: Joanne Edson – 20 hours/week, lay

Joanne works from the Parish Office. She is responsible for coordinating messages and publishing our pew sheet, Parish News and worship materials. She records the planned giving, processes our accounts and manages the office. Bookings should be made through her.

Parish Family Worker: Celia Falchi – part time, lay

As part of a large family herself, Celia is passionate about working with children and their parents/caregivers. Celia is currently studying towards a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at Massey University where her research is centred on Step-Family Relationships. Celia loves to cook and has performed both nationally and internationally as an opera singer. She is married and has a younger family member in her care as well as two dogs.

Box Hill Kids Supervisor: Raewyn Berkahn - full time, lay

Raewyn is the supervisor of our Early Childhood Centre, Box Hill Kids. She manages a large group of professional staff who care for children from 6 months to 5 years of age in our purpose designed and built childcare facility on site at Khandallah.

Musical Director: Jonathan Berkahn – part time, lay

Jonathan leads the music programme at Onslow Anglicans. He is a highly versatile musician who plays a wide range of instruments. Jonathan has composed much of the music we sing on Sundays including musical settings for each of our services. Anyone who would like to play a musical instrument in church is encouraged to talk to Jonathan. We have successfully included flute, saxophone, violin, trumpet, guitars and drums in our worship.
